Jane’s recent work has included:

Supporting nurseries facing closure, to help them turn around from losing money to becoming profitable.
Supporting nurseries in understanding their finances so they can make informed decisions and understand the impact of these is.
Helping Nursery Owners work on exit strategies and make sure everything is in order for a sale, and to maximise potential sale value.
Carrying out business audits so that Owners can accurately calculate fee reviews and review funding and business models.
Supporting Owners and Managers with profitable Funding Models and Fee reviews.
On-site visits to work with Management teams on identity/USP, management systems, staff deployment, and staff training on identity, curriculum and pedagogy.

Some clients book occasional ‘power hour’ calls on an ad-hoc basis, some work with Jane on a specific issue / area for the project time frame, whilst others have an ongoing relationship with Jane and have regular coaching or ‘sounding board’ sessions.

Services

Coaching Programme

£350 per month, one term (3 month) programme

Jane will work with you on a 1:2:1 basis to help you lead and run your nursery business as efficiently and effectively as possible. Over the course of a term (3 months), Jane will have two 1 hour Teams calls with you each month where Jane will work to support and advise you and take an in-depth look at your business, setting you actionable steps to implement to improve or grow your setting/s. Initial Business Audit

£750 (one setting)

Carried our remotely, there is an initial zoom call to gather contextual information, followed by analysis of monthly running costs, staffing costs, room occupancy, pricing structure, fee model, turnover, projected occupancy and break even. Areas to address are identified and fed back through a Teams call. Please get in touch to arrange your audit – individual quotes can also be give if you have more than one settings.

On-site Support or Training

£475 for 3 hour session

Dependent on location, Jane can visit your setting to work with Owners, Management or staff to carry out support or training as required. Travel will be charged at 50p per mile, and consultant travel time at £8 per 30 minutes. Additional on-site hours charged at £165 per hour. Contact Jane to book.

PowerHour

Remote – £195

An ad-hoc, one-off one hour Teams call to ask Jane’s advice on a specific issue or focus, effectively one hour of ‘picking Jane’s brain’ and receiving support and advice. Get in touch to book.

Individual Support

(2.5 hrs) £395, Additional Hours £165

To address a specific issue / achieve a specific aim you need support with. An initial 30 minute zoom call to introduce yourself and your context, and share your concerns and needs. Jane will provide initial support and suggestions with a proposal on how to move forward in the following two hours remote support. This may be through the provision of support documents, or Jane working through documents, spreadsheets etc. to come up with solutions for you. Do contact Jane to discuss your requirements.
